Nefab Canada and Otonabee Conservation partner to enhance habitat with native tree planting this fall

80 native trees and shrubs were planted today by Otonabee Conservation and Nefab Canada, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance habitat and increase biodiversity in the City of Peterborough.
The Nefab Canada Team in Peterborough planted around the perimeter of Dainard Park, which will further enhance the park and maintain open areas for active recreation. The variety of native species including Eastern White Cedar, Staghorn Sumac, Fragrant Sumac, Ninebark and Serviceberry will also enhance habitat for local wildlife.
“Nefab as part of our strong commitment to sustainability initiatives is thrilled to partner with Otonabee Conservation again this year to plant trees near our Peterborough Ontario site. This program promotes our employees’ passion for environmental causes as well as our dedication to conserving and improving the environment and the communities in which we do business. We hope that our efforts will have a good, long-term impact on the local community.”
Manmohan Chahal, Managing Director, Nefab Canada
