S.E.E.D. students from Holy Cross plant 2,200 trees!

Students in the Sustainable Environmental Education & Design (S.E.E.D) class from Holy Cross in Peterborough helped Otonabee Conservation plant 2,200 trees on October 26.

Red Pine, white pine, and white spruce trees were planted at a private landowner’s property in the Township of Otonabee South Monaghan. This project was funded through One Tree Planted and Forests Ontario.

Each year, Otonabee Conservation works with local landowners and partners to plant trees on private and public properties. If you are interested in planting trees on your property, funding, technical support, and volunteers may be available to assist you.
