PUBLIC NOTICE | Upgrades to Pinewood Municipal Well System

Recent upgrades to the Pinewood Municipal Well System have changed the boundaries of the Wellhead Protection Area.

How will this affect me?

If you live and/or work in the new area, there may be policies in the Trent Source Protection Plan that will affect how and where certain activities can occur. This may apply to septic systems, home heating oil tanks, agriculture, or storage of chemicals that could impact the source of your drinking water.

Let us know what you think

The public is invited to submit written comments on the proposed amendments to the Trent Assessment Report and the Trent Source Protection Plan, on or before January 17, 2020.
