Precipitation and water level data is collected from monitoring stations strategically located across the watershed. This information is used in the Flood Forecasting and Low Water Programs delivered by Otonabee Conservation.
Stations that collect water level data year round are identified on the map below by purple triangles.
Stations that collect precipitation year round are identified on the map below by blue water droplets
Stations that collect precipitation data seasonally are identified on the map below orange water droplets
Note: Seasonal stations can only measure rain, and as a result, during winter months, precipitation values may be inaccurate because the equipment cannot accurately measure hail, sleet, snow, or other solid forms of precipitation.
