Tree Planting

Tree Seedling Sales Program

The 2023 Tree Seedling Sales Program is now CLOSED. Thank you to everyone who purchased trees from us this year. The 2024 Tree Seedling Sales Program will be available in January 2024.

Check out our resources for how to choose the right trees for your property under, ‘Links of Interest’.

Each year, Otonabee Conservation offers landowners the Tree Seedling Sales Program, with a wide selection of native tree and shrub species for sale

We offer many native species of evergreen and broad leaf tree and shrub seedlings. These trees and shrubs are bare-root seedlings, are approximately 1-2 years old, and range in size from 6 to 30 inches (15-75cm).

Please note that tree seedlings must be purchased in units of 25. Once your order is completed, you will receive an email confirmation. We will contact you prior to pickup to arrange for payment by Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. There is a $30 administration fee that will be applied at the end of your order.

Contactless pickup will be in early May, just in time for the planting season. You will be notified directly to sign up for a pick up time.

Questions? Contact us by email at treesales@otonabeeconservation.com or by telephone at 705-745-5791 ext. 223.

Stewardship and Re-Forestation

Each year, Otonabee Conservation works with local landowners and partners to plant trees on private and public properties. If you are interested in planting trees on your property, funding, technical support and volunteers may be available to assist you.
