NEW online reservation system launches March 2nd!

This year, campers will be able to book their campsites online for Otonabee Conservation’s two campgrounds, Warsaw Caves Conservation Area and Beavermead Campground.

The new online reservation system will go live on, March 2nd 9:00 a.m. at otonabeeconservation.com. It will allow campers to view a map of the campground, select a site, and then book, pay for, and schedule their stay in an efficient, user-friendly, and convenient way.

“The new online reservation system will allow families to plan their outdoor vacations well ahead of time and provide peace of mind to those who wish to ensure they can reserve their favourite campsite for their required dates,” shares Jessie James, Manager of Conservation Lands at Otonabee Conservation.

In the heart of the city, Beavermead Campground is owned by the City of Peterborough and operated by Otonabee Conservation. It features 97 campsites including four fully accessible sites with barrier free picnic tables, a paved surface pad and close proximity to fully accessible washrooms and showers. Campers can enjoy sandy beach, paddling, canoe and kayak rentals, fishing, and can take in numerous festivals, restaurants, and shops in nearby downtown Peterborough.

Located only 20 minutes from Peterborough and within two hours of the Greater Toronto Area, Warsaw Caves Conservation Area has 52 campsites nestled in a beautiful hardwood forest in the heart of the Kawarthas. Visitors will enjoy spelunking, hiking trails, paddling, canoe and kayak rentals, fishing, and swimming. Visitors can join us for a day or stay with us in the campground to thoroughly enjoy all of the trails and activities that are offered.
