Mitchell Board Chair of Otonabee Conservation

Andy Mitchell, representing the Township of Selwyn, was acclaimed Chair of the Board of Directors of the Otonabee Region Conservation Authority for 2018 at the 59th Annual Meeting of the Conservation Authority held Thursday evening [January 18] at the Fire Department Administration Centre in the Township of Otonabee South Monaghan.

Sherry Senis, Deputy-Mayor of the Township of Selwyn, was acclaimed Vice-Chair of the Conservation Authority, an office she has held since 2009.

 

Chair Mitchell is pleased to welcome the following municipal representatives to the Board of Directors for 2018:

Township of Asphodel-Norwood: Terry Low (Mayor)

Township of Cavan Monaghan: Ryan Huntley (Councillor)

Township of Douro-Dummer: Karl Moher (Deputy-Mayor)

Municipality of Trent Hills: Bob Crate (Mayor)

Township of Otonabee-South Monaghan: David Nelson (Reeve)

City of Kawartha Lakes: Heather Stauble (Councillor)

City of Peterborough: Daryl Bennett (Mayor), Andrew Beamer (Councillor) and Don Vassiliadis (Councillor)

In 2018, the Board of Directors will meet the third Thursday of every month, unless otherwise notified. Members of the watershed community interested in attending a meeting or appearing as a delegation before the Board are welcome. Meetings begin at 5:00 p.m. and are held at the Otonabee Conservation Centre, located at 250 Milroy Drive, Peterborough.
