During National Youth Week (May 1 to 7, 2022) Otonabee Conservation,  City of Peterborough and Pathway to Stewardship & Kinship , and Peterborough Pollinators joined together to plant a pollinator garden along the Jackson Creek Trail. Garden beds were prepped and now they are ready to plant!

Join us on June 4th to plant 100 native species into the garden beds! Event starts at 2pm and ends when the plants are in the ground (approx. 4pm)

Time and location: Meet at the bridge along Jackson Trail in the Jacksons Creek Meadows community, from 2 to 4 p.m. Please dress for the weather & wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. Closed-toed shoes are best.

Participants will be asked to maintain a 6ft distance from others, and encouraged to wear a mask if this distance cannot be maintained, or throughout the event if preferred.  Masks, and hand sanitizer will be available, and all equipment will be sanitized prior to use.  Everyone is asked to self-screen for COVID-19 and stay home if they feel unwell.
