Be sure to bring your Discovery Days Passport with you to have it stamped at the events you attend. If you don’t yet have a Passport, be sure to ask for one when you are greeted by Otonabee Conservation staff at the Gatehouse.
10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Start your Saturday with a refreshing session of Yoga on the beach as part of the Discovery Days event at the Warsaw Caves Conservation Area and Campground.
Bring a picnic lunch and check out the Bondar Challenge exhibit!
1:00 p.m.
Get ready to meet some of Ontario’s birds of prey, courtesy of the staff from Wild Ontario. This live presentation was a huge hit last year, so you’ll want to be sure to attend! Wild Ontario will tell you all about the birds’ habitat requirements, their interesting features and how changes on the landscape and climate may affect these amazing birds.
8:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Join us for a Bat Walk! If you’re interested in watching the nocturnal antics of local bats, you’ll want to join this night walk. You will discover bat behavior, habitat requirements and which species call the Otonabee Region watershed their home.
