Join staff from Otonabee Conservation for a guided walk along the shoreline of the Otonabee River.
During this event participants will learn about what makes shorelines healthy, which plant species are used to naturalize shorelines, and the benefits of natural shorelines. An assessment of previous shoreline naturalization efforts will also be undertaken to determine the number of plants that have survived, which species are flourishing and if any replacement of plants needs to be undertaken.
Come prepared with appropriate footwear, sunscreen and water.
