Discovery Days features sun/night sky viewing

Otonabee Conservation is pleased to host a Discovery Days event on Saturday, September 30th at the Harold Town Conservation Area.

From 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. join the Peterborough Astronomical Association for a viewing of the sun, and then as night falls, view the stars and other interesting features of the night sky. Viewing equipment will be provided by the Association so that viewing is safe for all.

There is no charge to attend this special event.

Be sure to bring your Discovery Days Passport and have it stamped by Otonabee Conservation staff. If you don’t have a Passport, you can ask for one at the event. Then, be sure to submit your stamped Passport by October 13, 2017 to Otonabee Conservation to be entered into a random draw for a chance to win a prize.
