Discovery Days at Warsaw Caves – July 21st

Otonabee Conservation is pleased to offer the Discovery Days series of family-friendly explorations and activities featuring our natural environment. Be sure to have your Discovery Days Passport stamped by event staff!

On Saturday, July 21, 2018, the following activities are offered at the Warsaw Caves Conservation Area and Campground.

The events are free to attend, with paid admission to the conservation area ~ Enjoy!

1:00 – 2:00 p.m.

Join staff from Sciensational Snakes for an opportunity to get up close and learn about the various species of snakes of Ontario during this interactive program.

 

3:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Meet the Birds of Prey and learn form the staff of Wild Ontario about their habitat, behaviour and interesting features and characteristics. This demonstration with live birds is very popular, so you won’t want to miss it!

8:45 – 9:45 p.m.

Are you interested in the nocturnal antics of bats? Join local bat experts for a night hike to discover which bats are found in the local area and discover some interesting things about them!
