Discovery Days Returns this Summer

Otonabee Conservation is pleased to announce the 2019 Discovery Days series of family-friendly explorations and activities featuring the natural environment of the watershed region.

The Discovery Days series will be held at various conservation areas including the Harold Town Conservation Area, the historic Hope Mill, Beavermead Campground and the Warsaw Caves Conservation Area. Trail events, heritage activities, live wildlife demonstrations, fishing workshops, paddling tours, and night sky viewing are among the activities being offered.

The Discovery Days series begins with the “Celebration of Trails” event at the Harold Town Conservation Area on Sunday, June 2nd and will wrap up on Sunday, August 25th with Family Day at the Hope Mill.

Visitors to the conservation areas can enhance their visit by using the new Watershed Map App on their mobile devices. The Watershed Map App provides information about the unique features of the conservation area as well as the recreational opportunities and facilities that are available on the property.
